Q: What is a Re-Bath Bathtub?
A: Re-Bath Bathtubs are brand new DuraBath SSP® Bathtubs that are custom manufactured to fit perfectly over your bathtub.
Q: How are you able to match my old bathtub?
A: Re-Bath theroforms an exact duplicate of your bathtub from an inventory of over 1,000 bathtub molds creating a watertight fit.
Q: Who will do the installation and how long will it take?
A: Factory trained franchises and their installers can usualy complete the job in less than one day. The Re-Bath System is ready for use the next day.
Q: How long will it last?
A: With proper care, DuraBath SSP® will keep its high-gloss beauty indefinitely. Re-Baths beautiful impact resistant surface will not fade, rust, chip, peel or dent.
Q: Why not just replace my old tub?
A: Replacement can cost between $5,500 and $7,500. Bathtub replacement requires the disruption of your tile walls, flooring and plumbing. The process can take as much as one to two weeks.
Q: Why not refinish, re-glaze or repaint my old bathtub?
A: These are messy, smelly and noxious spray applications that can easily chip, peel, crack and fade. Repeating these applications are necessary every one to three years.
Q: How are Re-Bath Wall Systems different from wall kits?
A: Each Re-Bath Wall Surround is custom manufactured with our exclusive DuraBath SSP® and installed over your existing wall. The Re-Bath Wall Surround System encapsulates the old tile wall completely. Do-it-yourself "wall kits" can be difficult to install since one size fits all and they are manufactured from an inexpensive paper-thin material.
Q: Do I have to remove tiles?
A: Absolutely not! Re-Bath Bathtubs are scribed to match the contours of your tile walls. Re-Bath Wall Surround Systems are installed over existing tile walls.
Q: Is it easy to clean and maintain? What do I use to clean it?
