Q: Do I really need to change my oil every 3000 miles?
A: On most Toyotas, oil changes are only required every 5000 miles. On many new 2011 Toyota models, oil changes are only required every 10,000 miles. Through the use of synthetic oil and genuine high quality Toyota oil filters, we are able to reduce the frequency and in turn lessen the impact on the environment, save you time and money and reduce dependency on foreign oil.
Q: When should I rotate my tires?
A: You should rotate your tires every 5000 miles. This promotes even tire wear, optimal fuel efficiency, and your tires will last longer overall.
Q: Why do my pressure sensors turn on after a drastic change in temperature?
A: Drastic temperature changes can cause a change in tire pressure. For example, tires tend to deflate slightly during extreme cold; the best thing to do is visit your local Toyota dealer to have them adjusted accordingly.
Q: Should I only use Premium Unleaded fuel to get better gas mileage?
A: No. All Toyota engines are designed to get maximum fuel economy and power, while emitting the lowest emissions on regular octane fuel. This saves you money and keeps your Toyota happy.
Q: What is a cabin air filter?
A: Cabin air filters, which reduce and remove pollens, allergens and even bugs from entering your car air conditioning system are on most Toyota models and are usually located behind your glove compartment. Under most driving conditions, they will last about 25,000 miles before needing to be replaced. They reduce dirt and dust in your car and provide better breathing conditions for you and your family.
