Thrifty Tip – Homemade Brownies with Minty Frosting

This week’s Thrifty Tip is how to turn regular brownies into a special brownie treat that won’t break the bank!

For a cool brownie treat, make brownies as directed. Melt Andes mints in a double broiler and pour over warm brownies. Let set for a wonderful minty frosting.

Now for the brownies, try my homemade Virginian Brownies. Yummy and easy to make:

Virginian Brownies

1 1/2 C Flour
2 C Sugar
3T and 1 t Cocoa
1t Salt
1C Butter
4 Beaten Eggs
1 Package Chocolate Chips

Mix together. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.
