HOCTIL is a non-profit 501(c)(3) that provides services for people of all ages, disabilities and impairments. 

Our basic philosophy is that persons with disabilities have the right to choose independent living, appropriate education, meaningful employment and participation in one's Community. 

We provide advocacy, information and resource, support services, training and our newest venture HOCTIL's Cool Tools; all services are geared to Your Life... Your Way.

Individuals can learn about setting goals, managing their health, computer skills & technology, getting a job and much more.  We serve Hill, McLennan, Coryell, and Bell counties.  We have two office locations in Waco and Belton.

Q: What do you do here?
A: We assist individuals with disabilities to be more successful and integrated within their community as defined by the individual.
Q: What trainings do you offer?
A: We offer trainings to increase employment opportunities such as resume and interviewing skills and how to get that interview. We offer computer classes, nutrition classes, computer technology demonstrations, and Self-Management of Chronic Illness.
Q: What are the best ideas to prevent diabetes?
A: We believe that exercise, good food choices and awareness of diabetes is the best way to prevent diabetes.
Q: What is HOCTIL's Cool Tools?
A: HOCTILs Cool Tools is a new retail store that we opened at the Belton location that has various tools and gadgets that enhance ANYONE's daily life. Tools and gadgets include talking watches, talking scales, jar openers, magnifiers, amplified phones, large print keyboards, kitchen tools, electronics, and MOSHI the talking clock.
Q: Do you assist people in finding employment?
A: Yes. If you have a disability or impairment and have an interest in employment, part-time or full-time, we can assist you with resources, training and more.
