The 2011 Stevens Point and Wausau Heartwalks will be May 7 and May 14 respectively. Walkers can organize teams at their place of business or with friends to donate to his great charity. Get out there and get support to fight this deadly disease.

A: IMay 7 is the Stevens Point walk to start at Piffner park at gam. The Wausau event is the following Saturday at 830am starting at Marathon Park.
Q: What can walkers do to raise money?
A: IAsk their friends, family, co-workers or their company-maybe they can match what they have raised-to support their walk effort with a donation.
Q: Are many of your walkers survivors?
A: IMany of the walkers who will be participating or who have participated in the past are heart disease or stroke survivors. Many are walking in memory or in honor of a friend or family member who has had this disease.
Q: How can prospective walkers sign up?

Q: What are some of the warning signs for heart disease?
A: Chest discomfort, discomfort in other areas of your upper body, shortness of breath. If you or someone you know has these warning signs, get them to a medical professional right away
