Avoid digital eye strain

In today's age, many people spend a lot of time staring at a computer screen, which unfortunately can lead to eye strain.

Here are a few ways to prevent that from happening:

  • Make sure your computer is an arm's length away and positioned directly in front of your face, not off to the side.
  • Keep good posture and experiment with lighting. You may need more or less light depending on what feels the most comfortable.
  • Don't forget to blink and take regular work breaks where you walk away from the computer and stretch or just focus your eyes on something at a distance.
  • Have your eyes checked regularly. If you need a new vision prescription, using a computer may become difficult.
