Dr. Matthew Harpin

Dr. Matthew Harpin received a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Virginia Tech in 1996 and went on to attend the Southern College of Optometry. Upon graduating in 2001 he moved back home to Northern Virginia. Dr. Harpin relocated to Charlottesville in 2002 where he’s been practicing ever since. Dr. Harpin started working with Dr's Clark, Covert and Mueller at Charlottesville Family Vision Care, part-time, in 2008. Dr. Harpin joined the practice full-time in the summer of 2010.

Dr. Harpin and his wife, Stephanie, live in Albemarle County and have three young boys.
