The Sandwich Generation

Anyone who has a loved one suffering from Alzheimer's Disease knows too well the stress it places on a family.

A member of the “sandwich generation” is someone, usually a mother, who is caring for a family member from both a younger generation, like a son or daughter, and an older generation, usually a parent or grandparent.

The Alzheimer's Association provides care and support programs, engagement activities, education and advocacy to decrease caregiver stress.
