Liz Hayes

Liz loves spending time outdoors, working out, traveling, taking in the arts, reading and catching up on TV.

Liz Hayes has been in the television business since 2008, and spent two years in radio before that. She gets a thrill out of reporting on a variety of topics and since having her two daughters, she finds parenting stories of particular interest.

During her tenure, Liz has traveled to Vatican City, Italy to cover a local bishop becoming a Cardinal in the Roman Catholic Church, has covered the controversial recall election of WI Governor Scott Walker and even interviewed President Barack Obama while he was on the campaign trail. Liz boasts knowing a little about a lot, and has been awarded for her reporting.

Always loving adventure, Liz studied abroad in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa while attending college at UW-Eau Claire, learning about the Zulu culture and traveling throughout the country. Liz’s degree is in Broadcast Journalism, with a minor in Theatre Arts.

In her free time, Liz loves to spend quality time with her daughters and husband, Adam, as well as the rest of her family and friends. Liz loves spending time outdoors, working out, traveling, taking in the arts, reading and catching up on TV.
