The American Red Cross of the North Texas Region serves a population of over 9 million people.
Our compassionate volunteers care for and support our friends and neighbors who face the worst moments of their lives due to disasters. The Red Cross in North Texas works with the American Red Cross National Headquarters in Washington, D.C. and the international Red Cross and Red Crescent network to serve our neighbors down the street, across the country and around the world.
Our mission at the Red Cross empowers people to become survivors. Through trainings and reinforcing preparedness steps, knowledge becomes action and action saves lives.

The American Red Cross in Your Community
The American Red Cross of North Texas serves a population of over 9 million people in 121 counties and is made up of 7 local chapters including: Dallas Forth Worth, Texoma Area, Texas Panhandle, Texas South Plains, East Texas, Northeast Texas & Texas Big Country.
Each day, thousands of people – people just like you – provide compassionate care to those in need. Our network of generous donors, volunteers and employees share a mission of preventing and relieving suffering, here at home and around the world.
We roll up our sleeves and donate time, money and blood. We learn or teach life-saving skills so our communities can be better prepared when the need arises. We do this every day because the Red Cross is needed - every day.
