ASAP Photo & Camera FAQ

Q: Can you restore a damaged photograph?
A: Yes. Restoring photographs has been part of our business for over a decade. Seeing the joy after bringing a family treasure back from obscurity to prominence is one of our favorite moments. We can restore photographs of any size and the original remains safely in the store the entire time. Most jobs take about a week. During the holiday rush you should allow up to two weeks for completion.
Q: Do you offer portrait services?
A: Yes. Aperture Studio is on site at ASAP Photo & Camera. The difference is our facility and our approach. We have one of the nicest studios around, providing a private comfortable atmosphere that lets your child relax and be natural. Our photographers, Alley and Carder are cordial, professional, and take the time with your child to ensure they capture stunning images. Check out our work at www.apertureportraits.net.
Q: How large can you print my digital photos?
A: Technically, the largest print we can make is 24 inches by 80 feet. For commonly available frames the largest "normal" size we make is 24"x36". We can also make tiny prints for lockets or ID's. For prints larger than 8"x10" we highly recommend to have the print dry-mounted. By adhering a stiff back to the otherwise flexible paper, the print will hang nicely for years, even in a ready made frame. Most print jobs are ready by next day, and all sizes can be ordered conveniently at one of our in-store kiosks or from home at http://asap-photo.lifepics.com.
Q: Do you make folding cards?
A: Absolutely. 5x7 folding cards come in packs of 25 with envelopes. We also have a system for making cards, called SendOutCards, that allows you to upload a photo, add a message, and click send. We then print your card, place it in an envelope, and send it to your recipient(s). With the SendOutCards approach you can make 1 card to send to hundreds or make unique cards for each special occasion. You can even send gifts along with your card and add a video element that lets the recipient view your own video message or moment with their smart phone or on the web.
Q: Where can I learn more about photography?
A: Right here at ASAP Photo & Camera. Our classes, workshops and private sessions help hundreds every year do more with photography. In fact that really is the essence of our whole store. We want you to do more with photography and get more out of it. We have a classroom for 20 on site, and when the event requires, we use local meeting spaces and auditoriums throughout Greenville. Classes and events are posted on our website, and you can be the first to know by subscribing to our e-Newsletter on our website.
