"Hoppy" Easter

What's an Easter basket without a chocolate bunny? Thanks to designer Matthew Mead, you can make those plain rabbits "hop out" with edible glitter, powders and icing.

Pick up a mix of milk, dark and white chocolate bunnies along with the edible decorations from the cake decorating aisle at craft or cooking stores.

The goal is to bring out the details in the bunnies. You can use paint brushes and make-up applicators to apply powder and several colors to the bunny surface.

Brush the bunny with a light layer of piping gel and sprinkle with glitter through a tea strainer. Add icing flowers, piping gel and assorted candy pearls to highlight the eggs, baskets and clothing.

After the bunny is dry, place in a cellophane bag with a tag.

Now won't those marshmallow peeps be jealous? Your bunnies are decked out in their Easter finest.
