With soaring cliffs and majestic arches, Mt. Cloud Mountain is an awe-inspiring place to visit.  It may be one of the South’s best-kept secret. Mt. Cloud and McCloud Mountain Restaurant & Lodge is located on a 1300 acre tract of land at an elevation of 2700 feet, atop the Cumberland Mountains, and just a few miles to the northeast of La Follette, Tennessee. From the top you can get a breathtaking view of the valley below, Norris Lake, House Mountain, Clinch Mountain, the Great Smoky Mountains and Knoxville, Tennessee.

Imagine waking up to a sea of clouds covering the valley floor below. McCloud Mountain Lodge offers a taste of what it is like to live among the clouds. Each room has a private south facing balcony with the most spectacular and panoramic view that many will ever see. Depending on visibility, you can see the beautiful Powell Valley, Norris Lake, House Mountain and the Great Smoky Mountains. Mornings at the lodge are a special treat when fog covers the valley below. As the sun rises, the fog takes on the appearance of an ocean below. If you choose to eat in, our attentive staff will gladly deliver breakfast, lunch and/or dinner.

Q: Can you have a wedding at McCloud Mountain?
A: McCloud Mountain Restaurant & Lodge has facilities for your special day or event. Our event planner will be glad to help you, and can be contacted at: 423-562-3282 or mccloudrestaurant@gmail.com. We can assist with your planning for: weddings, receptions, reunions, corporate meetings & club or group gatherings.
Q: Can you stay for one night only?
A: One night rentals may be available on weeknights based on demand, but will require a $25 additional fee.
Q: Do you have any lots for sale at McCloud Mountain?
