Questionable Language

Few of us are really innocent when it comes to the use profane language now and then. C'mon. You've probably said a little more than "Rats!" when you slammed your leg into that open drawer while trying to put away some socks in the dark.

Different Kinds of Heroes

This is the time of year when we get excited about fireworks, about grilling out, and about finding a way to relax on the Fourth. It’s also the time for us to take a moment to reflect on our great country, and the great Americans who keep the engine of freedom running.

Make Sure Everyone is on Board

As a Details Dad, you know I'm always working to help the family. Sometimes when I survey the basement, I see so many items laying around that we haven't used for years. Then I think, "We could sell these items, and tidy up our home at the same time!"

The Details Dad: Time to Purge

As a Details Dad, I'm always trying to figure out ways to make the household run more efficiently. I think one of the ways to do that is to reduce clutter, cut the bulk, and cut back on extra items that are filling the house and garage.

The Details Dad: Movie Night

I really like to sit down and watch a movie when I get a chance (although those chances are few and far between). What I really like to do is have a "movie night" with the kids. We'll pop some popcorn, the kids turn off most of the lights, and we make it seem like we are at the "movie theater."
