This article, entitled The Bacon S’more comes from Michael Bonfanti's blog at Black Coffee & Bourbon.

Mike lives in North Florida with his wife, two children, two dogs and a cat missing a piece of her ear named Sadie Mae. He is a 30-something guy trying to balance family, work, gardening, travel and his love of food. When the kids are asleep and the house is quiet he writes two blogs, Black Coffee & Bourbon chronicles the daily circus that is his life, and Sweet Tea & Bourbon which documents his foodie adventures.
Gentlemen, I present to you the Bacon S’more. It was born today in my kitchen as I was tidying up and got the urge form something sweet. I decided to make a s’more and as I was assembling it on the kitchen counter noticed a stray piece of bacon left over from lunch. Breaking it in half I placed it on the softened marshmallow and pressed it down with a second graham cracker.
Upon completion of the Bacon S’more the heavens opened up and angels could be heard singing. I took a bite. The saltiness of the bacon countered the overpowering sweetness of the marshmallow and went well with the chocolate. While my future cardiologist will frown on this concoction it was delicious. As I finished the S’macon I wished I had more bacon to make a second one.
When Becky saw a picture I posted of it on Twitter she was horrified. She asked if I actually ate it. I replied that not only had I eaten it, but that it was amazing. I highly recommend making your own S’macon if you have a chance. You will not be disappointed!
