Tweens and teens are leading the way when it comes to eco-fashion accessories. Bottle cap jewelry is not only eco-chic, but it's also easy to make.
Grab a few bottle caps from your recycle bin, wash them well and let them dry.

You'll need to drill a small hole on the outside of the bottle cap to place a jump ring later. It's best to drill from the outside in to avoid any sharp edges.

Next, gather old magazines, stickers, photos or whatever images you want on your charms.

The inside of a bottle cap is about the size of a quarter, which can be used as a template to cut out your paper.

Using decoupage glue, glue your cutouts onto the inside of your bottle cap. Let it dry then seal the cutouts in with more decoupage glue. This needs to be done two or three times. If it's not sealed properly, the resin that you'll add to the top later will sometimes react badly with the paper.

Next, get some craft resin and follow the directions carefully on how much hardener is required.

Pour your resin into the bottle cap and let it dry for about 24 hours. You can then add your jump ring through the drill hole and attach it to your bracelet.

The most important thing is to let your imagination run wild on this easy, GREEN project.
