How to Make Your Own Bubbles

Kids love bubbles. So do babies, toddlers and maybe even some of us adults. Blowing bubbles provides lots of entertainment for children and is especially fun to do outdoors when the sun is shining bright.

You can buy bubbles inexpensively at the store, but you can also make your own with ingredients you already have at home.

To make your own bubbly solution mix 5 cups of water, 2 cups of dishwashing liquid (experiment to see which works best for you) and 1 cup of corn syrup. That’s all it takes! For some fun flair, add food coloring.

You can also make your own bubble wands by bending clothes hangers, floral wiring, or pipe cleaners into any fun shape. Cookie cutters, slotted spoons, Mason jar rings and cocktail strainers will work wonders as well. Look around your house for anything that seems appropriate. Have fun!
