For Tickets to Advance Screening of “Man of Steel”
Better Head to Walmart Faster Than a Speeding Bullet
Tickets Go On Sale at 8 a.m., Saturday, May 18
Moms: Want to be a superhero without even donning a cape? Snag tickets to the advance screening of “Man of Steel,” the highly anticipated Superman movie, which will take place at 7 p.m., June 13--one night before the movie’s release.
To achieve this feat, you don’t have to be able to leap tall buildings in a single bound, but you do have to get to a participating Walmart store while supplies last. Tickets go on sale at 8 a.m., Saturday, May 18 and are expected to sell fast.
You can purchase up to four tickets per visit and you’ll have the option to choose between 2-D and 3-D screenings, where applicable.
For added fun, fans can bring Superman to life with the official “Man of Steel Experience” augmented reality app while in their local Walmart. The app makes it possible to take photos with the superhero, as well as unlock special photo frames by pointing a phone at “Man of Steel” signage. To download the app, visit Apple App Store or Google Play.
A free original Digital Comic Book written by “Man of Steel” screenwriter David Goyer comes with every ticket purchased, as does a code that allows customers to pre-order their own Blu-ray Combo Pack or HD Digital Download of “Man of Steel,” which will contain exclusive film content. “Man of Steel” t-shirts, posters, electronics and more are available at Walmart store and at Walmart.com.
Also super? With a 7 p.m. show time, you can be a hero and still get everyone in bed before 10!
