Taryn Vanderford, (HGTV)

Imagine living in an automated home wirelessly controlled by apps on your phone or tablet. Well, the future is now!

Custom-built with the technology to connect and control appliances and devices, the first-ever HGTV Smart Home is located in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. It's packed with state-of-the-art technology that can be programmed to suit your lifestyle.

Located five blocks from the Atlantic Ocean, the Smart Home is constructed in a shingle-style architecture inspired by the historic homes in the area. It's about 2,400 square feet with covered porches, decks and a pool.

You can enter to win through May 31, 2013.

Professional house planner, Jack Thomasson, and host of HGTV's "Designed to Sell", Monica Pedersen, give us a tour of this beautiful and smart home.
