Strawberries are in season now at area grocery stores. But if you travel to farmers' markets, you'll also find something else in bountiful supply...and that's spinach. So why not combine the two?

Fresh Spinach Salad with Pecans and Feta

Servings: 4
10 ounces fresh spinach
1/2 cup pecan pieces
1/4 tablespoon sea salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup balsamic vinegar,, white
4 ounces feta cheese
Place spinach in serving bowl, toss with remaining ingredients. If you have fresh strawberry's top the salad with them sliced.
