Dinner Tonight - Cajun Grilled Fish Tacos

We are making Cajun Grilled Fish Tacos on this week's "Dinner Tonight." Watch some simple steps to an amazing dinner for your family.

Prep time: 20 minutes
Serves: 4

Utensils Needed:
Indoor grill or skillet
Cutting board


  • 4 tilapia filets, thawed

  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

  • Non-stick cooking spray

  • 8 corn tortillas

  • 1 small bag of shredded coleslaw mix

  • Chopped fresh cilantro


  1. Preheat an indoor grill or heavy non-stick skillet to medium high heat. Pat tilapia filets dry with a paper towel and sprinkle each filet with approximately 1/2 teaspoon of Cajun seasoning or to taste.

  2. Spray your indoor grill or non-stick skillet with non-stick cooking spray and cook fish for approximately 4 minutes on each side or until fish flakes easily with a fork.

  3. Meanwhile, place the mayonnaise, the chipotle pepper in adobo sauce and a dash of lime juice in a food processor or blender and process until smooth.

  4. To assemble tacos, spread the spicy mayonnaise on a corn tortilla and top with coleslaw mix, 1/2 of a fish filet, chopped cilantro and a dash of lime juice any any other toppings of your choice and enjoy.

  5. Serve with your choice of additional toppings and a fresh garden salad.
