Two Step Turkey Corn Dogs

Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 5-7 minutes
Serves: 4
Cost per Serving: $2.17

Utensils Needed:
Muffin tin
Measuring cups
Small bowl
Stirring spoon
Cutting board
Knife

Ingredients:

  • 1 box corn muffin mix

  • 1/3 cup fat-free milk

  • 1 egg

  • 2 98% fat free weiners made with turkey

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

  2. Prepare corn muffin mix according to package instructions and set aside.

  3. Spray 8 muffin tin cups with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.

  4. Cut hot dogs into 1 inch bites.

  5. Place 1/4 cup of corn muffin mix into each greased muffin tin cup.

  6. Place a cut hot dog bite in the center of each filled muffin tin cup.

  7. Bake for 5-7 minutes or until lightly golden on the edges. Let cool for a few minutes before removing from tin.

  8. Serve immediately after cooling.

  9. Store leftovers in a sealed containers or storage bag in the refrigerator.

Serve with: condiments of your choice (chili, cheese, ketchup, mustard, onions or relish.)
