Dinner Tonight - Italian Chicken

We are making Italian Chicken on this week's "Dinner Tonight." Watch some simple steps to an amazing dinner for your family.

Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 4-6 hours
Serves: 4

Utensils Needed:

Cutting board
Measuring cups
Mixing bowl


  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 1/4 cup water

  • 1 envelope Italian dressing mix

  • 1 can reduced sodium cream of chicken soup

  • 1 8-oz. package low-fat cream cheese

  • 1 4-oz can mushrooms, drained

  • 1 teaspoon pepper


  1. Slice chicken breasts in half and place in your slow cooker.

  2. Combine Italian dressing mix and water, pour over chicken.

  3. Cook on low for 3 hours.

  4. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together cream cheese and soup until blended.

  5. Pour cream cheese mixture and mushrooms over chicken.

  6. Top with 1 teaspoon pepper.

  7. Cook 1 hour longer or until chicken juices run clear.
