Recipe & Rhyme Taco Dip

Now that summer is upon us, we need some yummy cool recipes for our gatherings. This Taco Dip recipe is loved by kids but if you have a non-picky kid, feel free to add other extras like onions or peppers. Call the kids in for a rest from the sunshine and put this dip together in a flash!

Tasty Taco Dip Recipe
You will need:
16 ounces of sour cream
1 package taco seasoning (divided)
1 pound hamburger
Shredded cheese
Shredded lettuce
Sliced back olives
Corn chips

Caroline Hepfler wants to inspire families to cook and laugh together in the kitchen. Each article includes a kid friendly recipe and a fun rhyme. So what are you waiting for? Lets start rhyming!

Steps to follow:
Brown hamburger and drain off extra grease. Add 1/2 of the package of taco seasoning to the meat. Cool meat in the refrigerator. Mix the other 1/2 package of taco seasoning with the sour cream. Spread mixture onto the bottom of a 8 x 11.5 inch pan. Add cooled meat, cheese, lettuce, and olives in layers on top. Serve with corn chips.

Now it’s time to get with the rhythm! When reading this rhyme, find a beat. Clap your hands or even stomp your feet!

Tipping Taco Rhyme
The taco tipped off the table, what should we do?
The lettuce left to do its best, the cheese went to the zoo.
The meat skipped town and couldn’t be found. The olives just rolled away.
The rest of the taco laid on the floor, I guess it decided to stay.
