Ok, so my 9-year-old Josie thinks she needs an iPhone for Christmas. She has several good arguments in favor. I have several against.

Josie:

1. Mom I can call you anytime.

2. I don't have any electronic games.

3. I can do "school work" on it.

4. I can put all my music on it and then I won't have to borrow your iPod.

Mom

1. Does a 9-year-old really need a phone... especially an iPhone when Mom doesn't even have one?
