We all know that sugar is not good for us, but a study was just released saying sugar is as bad for a human body as alcohol. Wow, what bad news!
So, because of my "addiction" to sweets I've had a hard time with the following decision. "I will not eat sweets."
Now, here's my dilemma. The newsroom is notorious for being filled with snacks, mostly cookies, donuts, candy... etc.
I have two kids who inherited my sweet tooth. Every night they think they have to have dessert. I try to give them fruit or jello or something healthy, but it seems they really want ice cream or pudding. It's going to be a huge challenge to get them to follow their mother's lead, but I think it's best for all of us.
It's either all or nothing... here we go!
