A Season to Remember

As much as I love summer, I also look forward to fall! It's only the beginning but the leaves are starting to color our yard - bright bursts of yellow, gold, orange and red!

The blooms on the roses are drying up. But all of a sudden there's new hope; new beauty to take in!

The evening now requires a sweater or light jacket. The air is crisp and the sound under foot is crunchy! There's something about this transformational season that makes me nostalgic.

I remember apples and cider. Jumping into brittle leaves stacked a mile high! The smell of leaves burning. Hay rack rides and sing-alongs. Pumpkins. The pumpkin patch and scary houses. Halloween. Football games and tailgates.

Now, all that nostalgia is capped off with bold Cabernets and warm liqueurs.

Fall, forever a season to remember!
