A Little Laughter for Father's Day!

Do we have any “Last Minute Lucy's” out there?!?! Oh…I am so guilty of this sometimes, especially when it comes to buying or making a gift for an occasion. I am proud to say, for Father’s Day this year, I am not a “Last Minute Lucy”. I began planning my dad and my husband gifts in mid-May (can you believe it?!?).

We love homemade gifts in our house, so several weeks ago, Bug (my daughter) and I began working on their presents. My dad’s is finished (with plenty of time to spare), but my husband’s is still being worked on (sigh). When I went to pick up Ben’s homemade gift this week, there was a little bit of a problem!!! It was personalized with the wrong name! What makes the situation so funny; the gift was personalized with our first dog’s name “Lucy”! Bug looked at the present and said, “Mommy we can’t give that to daddy, it says the dogs name”! Oh…I love that child!! After a good laugh, it was quickly fixed.

So to my dad and my husband I want to wish you a Happy Father’s Day. Bug and I are thankful for you and we love you both very much!!!

To the rest of the dads out there, Happy Father’s Day too! In honor of all you dads, I want to share a very special video! It makes me laugh every time I watch it. I think it sums up being a dad in the best way possible, with a little humor!
