My daughter turns 2 this month. She already has many requests for her birthday party, highest on the list being cupcakes. Well, they can’t be plain ol’ cupcakes. It’s her second birthday; I have to make them special!

So I went on the website pinterest.com and searched “kids cupcakes”. I found so many wonderful ideas. People can go to this site, post all their favorite ideas and share them with anyone. Pinterest.com has everything from clothes, home decor, great do-it-yourself ideas and recipes.

In my search for the perfect cupcake inspiration I found my birthday theme: farm animals. My daughter loves animals, especially pigs. Within moments I found the perfect piggy cupcakes along with adorable friends such as sheep, ducks and cows.

I continued to browse other decorating ideas on Pinterest. I found tons of ways to go easy on the pocketbook but still have a very special party. If you’re not on Pinterest yet, you should definitely check it out.
