Pat Persaud received her Bachelor of Arts degree at Morningside College, in Sioux City, Iowa, and majored in English, with an emphasis on British Literature.

Pat has paid her dues as a journalist, beginning her reporting career in Sioux City, where she was most recently News Director for KMEG-TV.

Since joining WOWT in 1986, Pat has anchored weekend, morning and noon newscasts, and presently anchors the Channel 6 News at 5, 6, and 10PM. She also reports on the latest developments in Family Health.

Pat has a commitment and fondness for the community she serves, and viewers often comment on her poise and authority
