Make A List!

On my way to drop my daughter off to tennis lessons, with my errand list in hand, I asked her, "Do I look OK to just run into a store and pick something up?" "Sure Mom," was her quick reply.

I asked for her opinion since I had been house cleaning and just had athletic shorts and a tee-shirt on with a baseball cap to hide my hair. I had just a few things on my to do list today and wanted to make good use of my time.

I knew what I wanted to purchase and again - just a small list. I had a short window of time to get my errands done. I even called ahead and even asked the store clerk to hold the product at the check out for me. Piece of cake, right?

So, that's what I did. Walked into the store; to the customer service desk; paid and walked out! Easy-peazy!

Had about 45 minutes to kill so I thought, maybe another quick in-and-out at yet another store and I can cross of another item on my list. I'm on the hunt for a small area rug. On my way to the rug area I stopped to check out the sale clothing. Seems everything is on sale in this store!

Yes - walked out with a bag full of stuff. But mostly for my daughter.

Time to pick her up and my daughter exclaims, "Mom, do you realize you aren't wearing a bra?"

"What? But you said I looked OK earlier!"

Her reply? "Mom, geez, I wasn't really paying any attention to you. I can't believe you're running around to stores without a bra! That's so embarassing! I think you need to start putting that on your list of things to do!"

The older I get, seems my list of to do things (I'm sure) will be getting longer and longer!
