Alison Bickel

Whether it’s in the garden, the kitchen or tagging along on my boys’ latest adventure I like to look for the simple beauty in everyday from behind my lens.

My name is Alison Bickel, and I live in the heart of the midwest where, along with my husband, we raise our three boys. Whether it’s in the garden, the kitchen or tagging along on my boys’ latest adventure I like to look for the simple beauty in everyday from behind my lens. The photography bug bit me in sixth grade, upon getting my first camera, a Kodak Disk. I’ve been chasing light and subjects ever since. Here, on my blog, you’ll find tales of mothering, my passion for vegetarian cooking and obsession with farmer’s markets documented in pictures and words.
