This article, entitled College Students: Why Buy Textbooks When You Can Rent? comes from partner site serendipitymommy.com.
I feel like a seasoned career student, for as long as I have been in college. But I know I do have a tendency to rush and buy all my books before classes start. Well that changed this semester because I got tired of being burned in my wallet due to buying a book when I didn’t need to. Case in point; I bought an anatomy book that was over $200 only to find out I didn’t need to buy it and it was available for rent. This semester I am renting a textbook for the first time. I am renting a kindle version even so I don’t even have to worry about more books to carry. Are you thinking about renting? Check out just a few perks you can get from renting your books at Campus Book Rentals:
-save 40-90% off of bookstore prices
-free shipping both ways
-can highlight in the textbooks
-flexible renting periods (you can rent for 60 or even 120 days)
Another reason I wish I had rented my books? Because programs end and my college won’t be buying my books back from me, so I am stuck with them. Had I known, I would have rented and saved my money!
