Websites Reviewing Colleges

This article, entitled Websites Reviewing Colleges comes from Dawn Wells at partner site slopswap.com.

Our kids are growing up so fast. I can’t even believe that we’re already going to have a freshman in High School next year. That doesn’t seem possible. Our kids are already talking about what they want to do for College, which College they want to attend, if they want to go online or attend on campus. Wow! Not sure if I’m ready for that. There are so many decisions to be made when planning for College. How do you compare all of the schools out there and how do you know which one is right for your child? Or you for that matter if you’re returning to school?

Thankfully there are Websites Reviewing Colleges like collegereviews.com that you can go to to help narrow down your choices. Otherwise, how do you start doing College Reviews? Deciding to go to college is a big decision. Deciding which college to attend is an even bigger decision.

When I was deciding where to attend college, there were factors I took into account. I looked at how close to home I wanted to be, which colleges offered the course of study I wanted, how large college was, and would I have to find on-campus or off-campus housing.

Something that you may not have thought about doing is to read college reviews from actual students attending the college or university. I think it is an important step in making your decision between which college or university you, or your child, will attend. You will read comments and reviews from students regarding everything from dorms to academics.

We definitely live in a technology age where there is so much information right at our fingertips. I am grateful for that. It does make some things a lot easier when we need to gather information like this. Especially for a big decision like planning for college.
