New Year's Drinks - Shaken and Stirred!

Fabbo Fruit Punch Ingredients: 1/2 gal. orange sherbet 1 can (46 oz. size) unsweetened orange juice 1 can (46 oz. size) unsweetened pineapple juice 2 cans (46 oz. size) red Hawaiian Punch (see note) 1 can (6 1/2 oz. size) crushed pineapple Rum, optional Directions: Put orange sherbet in punch bowl, pour the juices over it, then add the crushed pineapple. Add ice and stir. For alcoholic version, fill a tall glass with ice, add punch and a jigger of rum. Stir. Note: Since Hawaiian Punch no longer comes in 46-ounce cans, just measure it in the other juice cans. This recipe from makes 2 gallons.
Fruited Champagne Punch Ingredients: 6 cups orange juice, chilled 1 cup water 1/2 pound seedless grapes 1 orange, sliced 1 pint fresh strawberries, hulled and halved, if large 1 bottle (48 ounces) Hawaiian guava drink, chilled 1 bottle (750 ml) dry champagne, chilled Fresh mint Directions: Day before serving: In pitcher, combine 2 cups orange juice with the water. Pour 2 cups orange juice mixture into a 3 - cup ring mold. Reserve remaining orange juice mixture. Freeze mold until firm - about 3 hours. Arrange grapes, orange slices and strawberries around top of mold. Fill with reserved orange juice mixture; freeze. In a 6 - quart punch bowl, combine remaining 4 cups orange juice and the guava drink. Just before serving, stir in champagne. Unmold ice ring; float fruit side up on punch. Garnish with mint. Makes 4 ounce servings. This recipe from serves 24.
Champagne Cocktail Ingredients: Champagne 1 sugar cube Several dashes Angostura bitters Lemon peel Orange peel Directions: Place sugar cube in a champagne flute and saturate with bitters. Add champagne. Twist lemon and orange peel and drop into drink. This recipe serves 1.
Dry Martinis Ingredients: 12 ounces gin 6 ounces French vermouth 1/4 teaspoon orange bitters Cracked Ice 6 olives Directions: Mix gin, bitters, and ice in shakers. Shake 12 times. Strain off into individual cocktail glasses. Place 1 olive per glass. This recipe serves 6.
Chocolatinis Ingredients: 1 1/4 ounce Kahlua 1 1/4 ounce dark creme de cacao 1/2 ounce vanilla vodka Directions: Shake all ingredients with ice in a cocktail shaker. This recipe serves 1.
Cosmopolitians Ingredients: 8 parts vodka (80 proof) 2 parts cranberry juice 2 parts triple sec 1 part freshly squeezed lime juice Directions: Mix and store in freezer until needed. If you want a nearly crystal-clear drink, decant the lime juice a few times to remove pulpy sediment. This recipe serves 1.
Margarita Jell-O Shots Ingredients: 1 large Box Lime Jell-O 2 cups Boiling water 1 1/4 cup Cold water 1/2 cup Tequila 1/4 cup Triple Sec Directions: Mix as directed using above ingredients. Pour into small paper cups or in a large pan. Chill as directed. If using pan method, when jello is chilled, cut into small squares. This recipe serves 10.
Mimosas Ingredients: 1 bottle champagne or sparkling wine(750 ml bottle) 1 quart fresh orange juice 2 limes, sliced paper thin Grenadine syrup Directions: Fill champagne flute half full with orange juice, fill to brim with champagne. Add splash of grenadine syrup . Garnish with lime slice. This recipe serves 8.
Green Apple Martinis Ingredients: Cinnamon and sugar for rimming glass 5 tablespoons vodka 5 tablespoons sour apple schnapps 5 tablespoons lemonade 5 tablespoons lemon-lime soda Directions: Dip the rim edge of two martini glasses in a shallow dish with 1/4 inch water, then in a shallow dish with 1/4 inch of equal parts sugar and cinnamon mixture. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine vodka, schnapps, lemonade and lemon-lime soda. Cover and shake vigorously. Strain shaken mixture into prepared glasses and serve. This recipe serves 2.
New Year's Champagne Punch Ingredients: 1 (6-oz.) can frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed 1/3 cup frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed 1 2/3 cup sweet white wine, chilled 1 cup cold water 1 (750-ml) bottle champagne, chilled 1 ice ring, optional lemon slices, optional lime slices, optional orange slices, optional Directions: Combine orange juice and lemonade in punch bowl. Add wine and water. Stir. Add champagne, but do not stir. Serve immediately. Float ice ring and fruit slices on top. Chill wine and champagne for 1 day prior to making punch. This recipe serves 10.
Raspberry Champagne Punch Ingredients: 2 packages (10 oz size) frozen red raspberries in syrup, thawed 1/3 cup ReaLemon juice from concentrate 1/2 cup sugar 1 bottle (750 ml. size) red rose wine, chilled 1 quart raspberry sherbet 1 bottle (750 ml. size) Asti Spumante or champagne, chilled Directions: In blender container, puree raspberries. In large punch bowl, combine pureed raspberries, lemon juice, sugar and wine; stir until sugar dissolves. Just before serving, scoop sherbet into punch bowl; add sparkling wine. Stir gently. This recipe makes 3 quarts.
Goddess Champagne Punch Ingredients: 1/2 cup super-fine sugar 1 cup Grand Marnier 2 packages (10 oz. size) frozen peaches 1 bottle (3/4 quart size) dry white wine, chilled 2 bottle (3/4-quart size) champagne, Brut, chilled Directions: Combine sugar and Grand Marnier in punch bowl. Stir until sugar dissolves. Place peach slices in punch bowl. Pour in wine and champagne, and stir until peaches separate. Serve in punch cups with a peach slice in each. Serving size: 4 ounces This recipe serves 25.
Cranberry Sangria Ingredients: 48 ounces cranberry juice 3 cups Port wine 1 orange, thinly sliced 1 lemon, thinly sliced Directions: Combine all and chill for at least 3 hours. This recipe serves 12.
