Decorating Easter Eggs

It won't be long before Easter arrives, so now is the time to start decorating your home with Easter ideas. And Easter eggs are always a great way to celebrate the season.

In this House Works, Judy Tuttle from "Stampin' Up" shows us how to use a product called gold leaf to bring new interest to Easter eggs.

Judy took some plastic and craft paper eggs, painted them and put a little tacky glue on the surface. She then rolled the eggs with the slightly dried glue in something called gold leaf that you can buy at craft stores.

Once the egg is wrapped, you can carefully brush off the excess, leaving an interesting mix of the gold, with the paint coming through for a nice patina.
