How to Get the Most Out of Spring Break

Planning something fun for spring break? Even travel isn't on the agenda, here are a few ways to make the most of your time.

1. Don't Overbook. Planning fun activities is great, but if you take on too many adventures, you'll end up needing a vacation to recover from your vacation.

2. Take Time to Relax. You probably spend week after week in a go-go-go mode. This is why you needed the vacation in the first place. Don't spend your valuable time off this way. Set aside enough leisure time so that you can appreciate the break from the norm.

3. Plan Activities Around Meals. There's nothing worse than trying to have a good time when the family is hungry. To keep everyone in the best spirits, try to stick to your regular eating schedule. On days when you'll be walking, swimming or generally playing harder than usual, have snacks at the ready to bridge the gap to the next meal.
