Pack A Protein Filled Lunch

Protein will keep hunger at bay and is also an essential as part of a healthy diet.

Protein can be found in several foods that can appeal to children.

Ideas to pack in a lunch include:

Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwiches

Sunflower or Almond Butter

Cheese (string cheese, slices, cubed, etc.)

Hummus (use as a dip for baby carrots or whole wheat crackers)

Yogurt (swirl in a spoonful of all natural jam or jelly for an added twist of flavor & color)

Cottage Cheese
