Potty Problems

We just bought our four-year-old a new game for his night time potty success!

It was his reward for completing his bedtime "potty" chart.

For more than one month he stayed dry at night - and made us so proud.

Even when he would come and wake us in the middle of the night to let us know he was going to the bathroom - we would smile in our sleep.

However, our delight has suddenly turned into dismay.

After so much success, we've suddenly gone backwards.

Every single night - there has been an accident!

That means every single day - my hubby and I are washing sheets and pajamas.

What happened?

We can't figure it out.

So this week - I gave up.

And resorted to old faithful...

You know what I'm talking about.

The Pull-Ups!!

A brand-new Pull-Ups package has been sitting untouched in the bathroom cabinet - so I grabbed one, explained to my little guy why he would be wearing one that night -and watched his little face - turn sour. It was working. The "shame" of reverting back to such a thing would do definitely do the trick. Right?

That next morning, we had another soggy situation on our hands!!

And to make things worse - he ASKED to wear them again that night!!!

(That was not supposed to happen.)

Our pediatrician once told me boys are just a tad more difficult to potty train - especially at night.

Once again - he was right!!

So how did you get your little ones to stay dry at night??

I'll take whatever suggestions you have!

Here’s to good nights at your house…

Until Next Time,
