Dinner Tonight - Hot and Spicy Tuna Patties

Utensils Needed
Can opener
Mixing bowl and spoon
Measuring cups/spoons


  • 24 ounces canned tuna (canned in water)

  • 6 tablespoons Dijon mustard

  • 1 cup whole wheat saltine crackers, crushed

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice, canned or bottled

  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley

  • 1/4 cup red onion

  • 1 jalapeno pepper, chopped

  • 2 tablespoons lemon pepper seasoning blend

  • 2 teaspoons dill weed

  • 1 egg

  • 1 tablespoon canola oil


  1. Drain water from tuna cans.

  2. Mix together tuna, mustard, crackers, lemon juice, parsley, onion, jalapeno, lemon pepper seasoning and dill weed.

  3. Mix in the egg.

  4. Divide the mixture into 6 parts. Form each part into a ball and flatten into a patty. Place on wax paper and allow to chill for an hour.

  5. Heat canola oil in a skillet on medium high. Cook patties 3-4 minutes on each side until they are brown.
