Dinner Tonight - Sour Cream Baked Chicken

We are making Sour Cream Baked Chicken on this week's "Dinner Tonight." Watch some simple steps to an amazing dinner for your family.

Utensils Needed:
Plastic wrap
Rolling pin
Small mixing bowl
Zip top bag
9x13 baking dish


  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts

  • 1 cup light sour cream

  • 1 sleeve saltine crackers

  • Salt free seasoning of choice


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9x13 inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. While the oven heats, place chicken breasts between two pieces of plastic wrap and pound until chicken is a uniform thickness for even cooking. Place crackers in a zip top bag and crush until no large pieces remain; mix in salt-free seasoning.

  2. Lightly coat chicken breast in sour cream and then coat with cracker crumb mixture. Place chicken breasts in the baking dish and bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes or until chicken has reached an internal temperature of 165 degrees.

  3. Serve with whole grain rice, a garden salad or your family's favorite vegetable.
