Most of us love to spread out on the couch after a long day’s work, turn on the tube, and finally relax. But maybe you’re the type who’s able to fit in several hours of TV watching every day. Either way, take advantage of your “you time” (and avoid couch butt) by getting up during commercial breaks.
Marching in place, 15 push-ups, 30 sit-ups, 10 Burpees, downward facing dog – anything you want to burn some extra calories during those several minute long breaks will help you maintain.
Commercial breaks are also a great time to fold laundry, vacuum the floors, take out the trash, or tidy up the family room. These are also ways to burn a few extra calories.
Don’t deny yourself some well-deserved TV time, just take advantage of the commercials and get moving!
