Importance of DairyFlavored milk, including chocolate milk, is a nutrient-rich beverage that can help children meet their nutrient needs and promotes healthy bones and bodies, according to the 2010 Dietary Guidelines for Americans and reputable health professional organizations such as the American Academy of Pediatrics. As a registered dietitian and mom, I recommend flavored milk as a nutritious option and feel good about buying it for my family.
