Eugene T. Mahoney State Park offers year-round accommodations, including lodging and group meeting facilities, while also providing several recreational activities for year-round entertainment. The most popular attraction is the Family Aquatic Center, which includes two 200-plus foot curling water slides, 0-depth wave pool, and kids water playground. Other summer activities include miniature golf, driving range, tennis, basketball, softball, horseback riding, crafts, fishing, picnicking, hiking, 70-foot observation tower, nature conservatory, live theatre, and waterway. Winter activities, depending on the conditions, include cross-country skiing, sledding and toboggan runs, ice fishing, indoor playground, activity simulators, and an outdoor ice skating rink. Lodging accommodations are provided in secluded cabins or the Peter Kiewit Lodge. The Peter Kiewit Lodge and Sapp Riverview Lodge are great places for group retreats, seminars, and family reunions.

Q: Will I need to book lodging?
A: No. Although we are busier during peak seasons and holiday weekends, we can usually accommodate lodging requests during non-peak times. If you need lodging during peak times, please plan ahead.

A: Summer events include camping, fishing, horseback riding, the aquatic center, indoor playground, and crafts. Mahoney is a great destination for an affordable family getaway.
Q: What is your birthday party package? Activities available?
A: Birthday party packages are available at the activity center and includes admission for all participants, reserved area and cleanup, one ice cream cup for each participant, some party supplies, one rock climbing wall simulator pass per participant, and commemorative birthday t-shirt for the birthday boy or girl. Cost is $60 per party up to ten participants; $3 additional per party participant up to 30 individuals. Other activities available are ice skating, golf simulator and hunting simulator.
