FirstCare is locally owned and operated. We are proud of the more than 10 years we have served our patients in Lincoln and in the surrounding communities. At FirstCare Home Health, we establish a close working relationship with each of our patients. We will provide a free consultation visit to your home or nursing facility at your request to give you more information about available services.We assess your medical needs as well as the assistance your family member needs to help you “get along” in your everyday life.

Once we plan a program of assistance that suits the patient’s lifestyle, we assign a Registered Nurse (RN) Case Manager to coordinate your loved one’s care. The Case Manager communicates the patient’s needs, concerns and plan of care with the aides on the team, skilled nurses that see them, any therapists that are involved, physicians and designated family members.

Q: What types of services do you provide?
A: As our list of services is extensive we provide a free consultation visit to assess your medical needs and review the available services. Our staff includes home health aides, skilled nurses, and therapists. We’re here to serve you and your family. We’ll plan a program of assistance that suits the patient’s lifestyle.
Q: Do you have nurses available during all hours?
A: Yes. Care is available 24 hours a day when needed.
Q: Will you be communicating with my doctor?
A: Yes. We have physicians orders for every service we provide and follow up with physicians on a consistent basis.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: The level of investment correlates directly to the patient’s needs and the care provided. We understand this is a concern and try to reduce costs whenever possible. We don’t charge more for weekend visits like many other agencies do.
Q: Do you have payment options?
A: Yes. We accept payment through Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance or long term care insurance plans. If your insurance does not cover home health care, we will present available options for you or arrange a private payment plan. We provide a convenient billing service so you can concentrate on recuperation and recovery.
