Lincoln Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery FAQ

Q: Do you accept payment plans?
A: Dr. Henry offers either no interest or low interest financing through Union Bank or CareCredit. It is no longer necessary to delay a procedure you really want.
Q: Can more than one procedure be done in one surgery?
A: Depending on the type of procedures typically more than one procedure can be done. However, there are certain situations where Dr. Henry may recommend doing them at separate times.
Q: Are there age limits (minimums or maximums) on some of the procedures?
A: Typically we require patients wanting cosmetic procedures done to be an adult which are 19 years of age or older. However, there are certain procedures that can be done on minors with a parents consent. (Breast Reduction, nose procedures, and ear pinning)
Q: Does the consultation process explain any side effects or long term effects of the surgeries?
A: Yes. Dr. Henry is very detailed in explaining any side effects, risks, and complications that may occur with procedures. The internet is also a good tool to use prior to coming in for a consultation. Researching the procedure you're interested in may bring up other questions you may have for the Doctor to address.
Q: How long is the recovery period for most cosmetic procedures, such as breast augmentation, lipo, etc.?
A: Typically recovery time is 1-2 weeks based on the procedure performed. Procedures such as SmartLipo, Botox, laser resurfacing, and wrinkle injections have minimal downtime.
Q: Will insurance cover any part of a cosmetic surgery procedure?
A: We do not submit to insurance for cosmetic procedures. However, surgeries such as breast reductions, and nose procedures are typically covered because they are functional problems and are medically necessary. We do require insurance approval prior to performing the surgery to make sure it is covered by the insurance.
Q: Where are the procedures done, is it the patient’s choice?
A: Dr. Henry has privileges at BryanLGH East and West, St Elizabeth, Lincoln Surgical Hospital and the SouthWest Lincoln Surgery Center. We recommend doing cosmetic procedures at either the SouthWest Lincoln Surgery Center or the Lincoln Surgical Hospital as they have discounted pricing for cosmetic cases.
