Have You Ever Come Home to A House Full of Water?

Everyone needs to know where the main shutoff is in your home. It is located where the water comes into your home, usually on your water meter.

If the water is coming directly from your water heater you should first turn of the gas or electric supply. Next turn off the water supply. Then you may need to drain the water heater if it’s necessary to avoid further water damage. Fourth, pull the relief valve handle up.

If water is flowing from a single faucet you’ll want to find the stop valve and turn it off.

After you've taken these appropriate steps, contact Mark's Plumbing at 402-440-8151 to solve the problem.
