Here at Refinery Fitness you are not just a number that is herded through the gates, but a real person with needs, desires and goals. The staff takes great measures getting to know each and every person that comes in. We don’t have a monster menu of daily activities to choose from, just your “getting back to basics” program that makes getting healthy quick and enjoyable. Refinery Fitness FAQ
- Begin with 3 short 10 minute periods a day.
- Vary the intensity of the exercises.
- Make an appointment with yourself to exercise.
- Put on your shoes and move.
- Incorporate activity into your family life.
- Get help from a Personal Trainer if you need it.
- Do moderately intense cardio 30 minutes a day, five days a week, OR
- Do vigorously intense cardio 20 minutes a day, 3 days a week, AND
- Do 8-10 strength-training exercises, 8-12 repetitions of each exercise twice week.
- Help you keep your metabolism revved up, burning more calories.
- The stronger you are the better cardio workout you will have.
- Gaining muscle will help you look more defined and will tone your physique.
- Help your body burn more of the calories you consumed during the day.
- Prevent muscle loss that occurs when you are dieting and losing weight.
- Build up the amount of your muscle tissue. The more muscular you are the more calories you burn.
- Exercise will lead to a more toned and slimmer you.
