Coyle Carpet One FAQ

Q: What type of countertop should I choose?
A: From laminate to granite, there are many types of countertops to choose from. When trying to make a decision on countertops, consider your expectations. For instance, how do you expect the countertop to perform, how long do you expect it to last, how do you plan to use it, are you opposed to maintenance, and of course, do you have a budget?
Q: What determines the price of a countertop?
A: A few factors that determine price are: the quality and type of material, installation difficulty, edge treatment, and backsplash design.
Q: Is there a maintenance free countertop?
A: There is not a countertop product that would be considered maintenance free. The best product available right now for needing the least amount of maintenance is engineered stone. Engineered stone is made up by a majority of quartz. These surfaces are very durable, resistant to stains, heat resistant, and do not need to be sealed.
Q: Can I get an expensive looking countertop within a reasonable budget?
A: Yes! There are less expensive materials that are created to imitate the more expensive ones such as granite and marble. Several laminate manufacturers have replicated the look of granite and solid surface and many natural stone surfaces are available in less expensive forms such as softer minerals or the surface is not as thick.
Q: What are the different types of countertops available?
A: The most common types of countertops are quartz, solid surface, granite, marble, soapstone, concrete, tile, stainless steel, recycled glass, bamboo, and laminate.
