A: Yes! While not all activities are suitable to children, there is always something for children. In fact, our November theme as been so popular it has remained. be sure to bring the kids out for Kids' Night Out on November 2 when all activities are geared towards the youngsters.
Q: Is there a cost to attend First Fridays?
A: Most activities are offered are free of charge. If there is a charge, it is clearly indicated on the website. Remember...most of the shops and restaurants downtown are locally owned. If everyone spent just a few dollars locally, the economic return is in the millions.
Q: I don't feel comfortable going into an art gallery because I don't know anything about art.
A: Most of the galleries host artist receptions / openings during First Fridays. This is an opportunity for you to enter a gallery when it is less intimidating. Art is enjoyable for all and we encourage you to give it a try!
Q: Where do I park downtown?

On-street parking is available free after 6pm. There is also plenty of free parking n the garages at Man and Colfax, Leighton Plaza, and Wayne Street except during special events at the Morris Performing Arts Center when parking is $5. Q: Is the East Bank Village part of downtown?
A: Yes! There are unique shops, galleries and restaurants on the east side of the river that participate in First Fridays. We encourage you to check them out. TRANSPO offers free trolley rides at marked locations throughout downtown. The route takes about 15 minutes. You can hop on and off as many times as you like as you move through the east and west sides of the river.
